We hope you had a great summer and are in good form for fall! The Montreal National Home Show organizers spent their summer preparing a new edition in keeping with your expectations. We’ve got lots of exciting new developments to report and are proud to confirm that most of our features have been finalized.
First and for most, we’re pleased to report that our partnership with RE/MAX has been renewed for the next two years. This agreement is essential to the visibility of the Montreal National Home Show, and the scope and credibility brought by RE/MAX’s collaboration is a big plus to industry professionals and visitors. There’s also more good news to report: exhibitors have renewed their spaces in large numbers, with the renewal rate already surpassing 73% to date. Contact us now to secure your spot!
A big thank you to all the exhibitors who agreed to take our survey; the information you provided enabled us to identify specific needs, to better assess the impact of the Show, and to consider your many event-related suggestions and comments. Those who took part in the survey were automatically entered into a draw. Congratulations to Cuisine Summum who won a 100 sq. ft. space for the 2008 Show!
MANON LEBLANC
IS BACK!
Manon LeBlanc is resuming her role as spokesperson of the 2008 National Home Show, and that’s great news given the added visibility that she brings to the event.
Her many media interviews, her magazine, Inspiration, her show, Manon tu m’inspires, and her public conferences are instrumental in promoting the Show and increasing its reach.
A new partnership
The Stella Nostra Foundation will be launching a major project for the 2008 Show entitled L'Etoile Bleue whose mission is to increase environmental awareness in children aged 6 to 15 through fun educational activities. A 2000 sq. ft. Space has been set aside for the project in a magical, bucolic setting, where various disguised characters will give young visitors information on environmentally-friendly, energy-efficient and health-conscious housing materials and technologies.
A revolutionary new feature
The National Home Show is teaming up with IME (Isolation Multi-Énergie) to build a 60 ft x 50 ft environmentally friendly house. A true environmental marvel, the house will be one of the Show’s main features because of its innovative materials and integrated green construction features (Leed lighting, home automation, heating and cooling system, torrified word, polycarbonate greenhouse, green roof, etc).
A green window display !
Part of the main circuit of the 2008 Show will feature a “green window display” presenting new products related to sound housing, health and well-being, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Do you have “green” products? Be sure to tell us about them so you can make the most of this great visibility opportunity. Contact your exhibit sales consultant and let him know about your products and suggestions.

To compliment the hugely successful New Product Circuit sponsored by Decormag magazine, a central space will be set up to present all that is new and revolutionary in the housing industry. Our association with Décormag has only continued to grow since it began two 2 years ago, providing extensive visibility in the magazine and excellent media returns. We even issue an exclusive press release to promote these new products.
A selection following pre-determined criteria will be made among the products proposed. Keep in mind that novelty is among the top three criteria of interest for the public and the media when they visit the Show!
